“… we could no longer separate what a product looks like physically from the way it behaves and how we interact with it.”
During a school project we became aware of designing with Physical Interaction.
Together with a team we launched a Startup company and introduced an innovative physically designed smart object.
As well as the company name, we called our product Hydro.
Hydro contributes in a healthy way of life, and tries to coach people towards a balanced lifestyle.
Focussing on the elderly, our ‘glass’ tracks your water intake and couches you towards optimal hydration.
Most of us don’t drink enough water which can often lead us feeling tired, fatigued and not performing at our best – both in body and mind.
Hydro interacts with the user and sends notifications when your water intake isn’t optimal.
We used physical computing, designing shapes and design for behaviour to design and develop the smart object.
